RE: Pulling

Hi, I am feeling exactly what you are. I'm 3 weeks post-op and whenever I do ANYTHING...I get the pulling and stabbing, mostly on my right side. I'm not doing anything I shouldn't be, just taking a shower, doing the hair, putting on makeup, the usual things to make you feel good, puts me down right back on the lazy boy! I have gone out for lunch a few times, with friends driving, I'm scared to drive yet. I can't handle more then an hour and a half out. I guess it's still fairly early in recovery. I just can't stand sitting in this house anymore! I'm usually NEVER home, especially now that the kids are home for the summer. Thank God they've been getting out here and there with friends. I have a cleaning girl coming Monday. YEAH!!! I am a fanatic with my house being clean, the kids and husband can only do so much! LOL! Well, take it easy. try to relax, I know it's hard. We still have weeks to be careful. It's not worth hurting ourselves. We need to fully recover properly. Take care! Hugs!!!

Painful pulling?

I had the same problem and when I went to my two week visit yesterday the doctor told me that when he was sewing back up there were two spots one on each side where knot it and keep it from coming apart. He made me feel the knots, and they were there and he told me that was were I was feeling the pulling pain from.
Not sure if you are having the same thing or not, but that is what my doctor told me.

Painful pulling?

I am also 4 weeks post op. I feel like I should be able to sit up with out that pain and pulling but no such luck. how long will this last? I have 3 young children and there is only so long I can sit and take it easy but sometimes when I stand up the pain is so bad it takes my breath away and I need to lay down for awhile. I wish this healing process was not so slow!!!!

Painful pulling?

I have the same pulling-almost like the feeling I had when I was pregnant with DD#1-sharp pulling pains in groin-on either side below incision. This has been the most pain so far. I know what u mean about cleaning girl-DH told me to get one too (he thought it would make me feel better) She came on wed, and did a horrible job-yes I am alittle picky! I have a different one coming next week. Hope she's better!
Also hope these pains go away soon! Take care!
