Prayer for a Lady Having Surgery Tomorrow

Hi Ladies,

Could you please be praying for a friend of a friend of mine. Her name is Lisa, she's 41, and she's having exploratory surgery tomorrow morning at 7:30 a.m.. The doctors are afraid that she may have ovarian or uterine cancer. She may end up having a hysterectomy, and is very frightened of what they may find during surgery.

I don't personally know this lady, but I told my friend, Teresa, who is her best friend, that I would ask you all to pray for her and she's letting her know that our thoughts and prayers are with her.

Thanks and s,

Lisa

Prayer for a Lady Having Surgery Tomorrow

Lisa,
So sweet of you to bring Teresa's best friend here for prayers, God will bless you for doing so.

Father God, we lift up Teresa's friend Lisa to you, she will be having exploratory surgery tomorrow, she is afraid that they will find Cancer, let there be no cancer of any kind, we ask that your will be done. If cancer is found and she has a Hysterectomy instead to get rid of the Cancer, let the surgeon get all of the Cancer. Let Teresa's friend Lisa trust you, Calm her fears, go with her into the operation room, fill the operation room with your Holy presence, Guide the surgeon mind and hands who will be performing the surgery, Let her surgery be a success and no complications, give her a blest recovery, we ask in your gracious name, Amen.

s Lisa ,May God bless you and Your friend.

Thanks, Shirley!

I just heard from my friend, Teresa. Lisa just came out of recovery and is doing well. Praise the Lord, they did NOT find cancer!!! She had some polyps and some endometriosis on her uterus that they removed laproscopically. She is being released this afternoon.

She and her husband are rather upset at the doctor that he didn't go ahead and do a hysterectomy, as she is having very painful periods and heavy bleeding. Evidentially, her doctor is a Catholic and won't do a hyst unless the patient's life is in danger. He told her that he could control her bleeding with Provera, but he didn't know what he'd could do about her extreme pain. I think they're going to go find a new doctor after she heals.

Anyway, thanks so much for your prayers.

s,

Lisa

Prayer for a Lady Having Surgery Tomorrow

Lisa, I don't think the doctor being Catholic has anything to do with this doctor's decision. I have read other stories here about
other doctors who were very reluctant to do a hysterectomy
which can be a good thing. This lady's symtoms sound like mine.
I had the heavy bleeding, even hemorrhaging, and knife-like
pains during the period. Not only did I have a fibroid, I also
found on the path report that I had adenomyosis. For a permanent cure, it seems like a hysterectomy is the choice.
Praise God this lady does not have cancer!! Finding another doctor for a second opinion seems logical.
