Hi KDeit, thank you for the warm welcome. I am so looking forward to gettjing rid of all this pain. My LAVH/Bladder repair will be a piece of cake with the help of my Faboulas DR and my Wounderful DH and all my HysterSister Friends. My dr said he would like to mention this site to some other Ladies who may need these kinds of surgeries. I told him go on tell these ladies that there are women who really understand what they (WE) are going through. He really likes my pillow. Thank you all see you over on the otherside in 2and half days.

It's nice to get your good luck messages just before surgery on Thursday. Being a fanatic of this site for the past few weeks, I wonder now how I would be feeling if I hadn't read all the information everyone has shared, had some laughs on the chat line with you all, and sharing messages with some of you who share the same 7/24 date. I think I would have been veery lonely without having found the hystersisters. You are all the most wonderful ladies - thank you!

Thanks for all your good wishes. Am a little nervous but not as bad as I thought. Will be glad to be done with "it" once and for all. Am told will be out of Hospital Friday or Saturday depending on how I do. Feel like I'm having a baby again - bringing back the memories after finding out more information on what would happen. At least I'll be asleep this time. I'll see you on the other side in a couple weeks and let you know how it went.

But just remember that there's Red Jello and at the end of the tunnel!!!

Started my pre-op prep this morning and for some reason I'm more hungry than on any other day. There are days I could go without eating until 3-4PM but since I celebrated last night and had a huge meal I'm famished. Then again, this too shall pass.

Remember ladies, our life is already planned, we just have to go through the steps to get to the other side. May your steps be shorts and swift, without too much pain:.

Bruanne - you made me laugh with the lime Jello...my DS had his tonsils out last week - LOTS of lime jello here!
