After affects

Tomorrow, I will have a complete w/ removal of my ovaries. My doctor says he will put me on a hormone patch immediately. What affects should I feel? Are these patches OK or should I try some other therapy?

I had a the same surgery you will have on May 19, 2003. I was started on estrogen replacement through a Vivelle Dot patch the day of surgery. I have had no symptoms of menopause because of this, and I have not had any ill-effects of it. Good luck.
