vaginal disomfort.. driving me nuts

I am not sure where to go for help on this question... I had a TVH ( kept one ovary)and cycstocle and rectocele repair the end of Feb 2003. After my 6 weeks checkup finally felt pretty normal.. then about 2 weeks later at 8 weeks..felt a bulge in my vagina... went back to DR and he said it was a bladder prolapse... and that it was common for it to happen.. ( I was so upset..after living with a prolapsed bladder for 22 years..wanted it fixed it right!!!) He said forget about it and go ahead and live my life until it gets bad enough to warrant another surgery.. not what I wanted to hear.. anyway I have been trying to ignore it and do my kegals.. seemed like it was doing a bit better.. but now Im so uncomfortable.. not like my old prolaspe feeling for the past 22 years... but now I feel as tho something is rubbing against something inside.and even sitting on the floor and moving around is uncomforatble..like something is in there!!.and I am unable to have any sex with my DH. so painful..like nerve endings driving me up the wall.. like he hits something that shouldnt be there... and I thought maybe it was dryness.. so have been trying the Replens..which I cant even insert the applicator without cringing and it doesnt seem to be able to go in all the way..like im hitting something and it hurts.. after tryng to see if anyone else has had this problem.. is it possible that I have adhesions or scar tissure.. I have no bleeding.. .or could it have something to do with the vaginal cuff.. Im so aggravated with my Gyn ...I know I need to go in to see him..but dread it... could vaginal dryness be this painful.. Im not taking any HRT.. and really dont have any major problems other than hot flashes and weight gain.. but all that doent bother me enough to want to take HRT.. Im just concerned that either he left something inside me.. ( which by now Im sure id have amajor infection).. but thats what it feels like.. anyone out there that can help me.. ? its so hard to explain the discomfort I know.. but hoping someone else has had this similar pain...thanks

(((((Sally)))))

Sooo sorry for all these problems- I do not have any experience with these issues, but just want to send a big your way sweetie..

I know you don't want to go back to DR, so maybe you could see someone else- sometimes that helps.. I wish you the best and hope you feel better soon!!!

Yikes sorry your're having problems. As Karen said I'd go to another gyn. Maybe you can get some answers. You shouldn't be in this much pain. Something is not right.

Hope you find some help soon.
