High Blood Pressure

I am currently taking 0.5 mg of Gynodiol (estradiol) daily. I have developed high blood pressure since starting this treatment. Has anyone experienced similar side effects? If so, has anyone changed to estriol or estrone with success? I recently added a daily dose of 25 mg Progesterone along with 25 mg of Aldactone and my blood pressure has come down some, but not enough. I feel sure my Dr. will want me to stop taking estrogen if my pressure does not come down significantly. Thank you for any feedback.

High Blood Pressure

Hi Kay Are you having any other symptoms besides elevated blood pressure? My blood pressure goes up when my estrogen level is too low, and also when I haven't had enough sleep (and the two seem to go hand in hand). Just a thought.
