finished pre-op this am

Sisters,

Had pre-op this morning, saw my doctor, had all my questions answered, she strongly agrees that I am making the right chocie by having the TAH. I then went to the hospital where I had blood drawn, had an EKG, a chest X-Ray. Met with the A-man, he agreed that with my history of drug sensitivities, an epidrual would be the best choice, as it would require the least amount of drugs. I will also be given a sedative type drug to keep me calm and oblivious to what is going on. We also discussed post-op meds, I feel that he truly listened to my concerns.

I am tired but I feel very good about the surgery after speaking with all the involved parties.

One step closer to being a princess!!

I am glad that your pre op went so well that you have a calm mind about it.

I almost skipped to the hospital for my TAH/BSO. I was sooooo ready for my trip to the post op side !!!!!!

I bet you will do great.
