Severe abdominal cramping and pain after pelvic exam?

Hi again ladies,
I feel like the women with all the unusual problems. I had LAVH(kept ovaries)on 8/16. Last week I had my first pelvic exam since surgery. The exam hurt of course but after I had the worse abdominal cramping, gas and diarrhea. This has happened prior to surgery but just not as bad. I called the office and spoke to the nurse about this and she really couldn't offer me any reason for this. Has anyone else experienced this. Or have any idea what could be happening.

Kimberly, I have never experienced this but could it be related to the infection? Did the Nurse know that was what you were treated for? Take care and hope you feel better soon
