Bladder problem?

I had my TVH on July 21, with a bladder tuck. Everything has been fine until last night, I noticed I am just kinda dribbling. Not too much of anything coming out. I called the nurse today and she said unless I am feeling full and pain, I should not worry. I don't feel any pain or any fullness at all. It just seems like I should have to go more than I am going. Thanks for any advise.

Bladder problem?

I'm having 'leaking' problems as well. I had radical surgery July 22. Three days ago, I started this 'faucet', especially at night. I'm really not sure if it is coming from my bladder or by vagina. I'm still 'numb' and don't get the feeling that I need to go, but the constant dripping is driving me crazy. I'm just not sure if it is urine or not. It is clear and doesn't smell like urine... my doctor is 4 hours away and I just can't stand the idea of a long car ride just to check.

Bladder problem?

i too had a TVH/a&p repair/bladder and rectum tack...about day 4 i noticed my urine stream starting to slow down..it got to the point of not feeling like i was emptying..i had to sit for a while and let things slowly come out....i finally went to the dr and the NP tested my urine..was full of blood so she sent it out for a culture..it came back with group b strep infection.....if this problem persists, you might want to get in to see your dr or nurse...just dribbling urine will cause retention and bladder pain....also, increase your water intake as this will help flush things along......hope this helps a bit....stay well.......*diana*

bladder problem

I had a TVH and bladder tuck on 7/21 and am also experiencing dribbling and slow urinary output. I went to the DR on 7/31 but tested negative for a bladder infection. DR said it would take time. I am trying to drink a lot of water and be patient. I was catheterized for one full week after surgery. I guess it takes time to regain normal function. Otherwise I am feeling no pain, just deep fatigue. Every time I feel good, I do too much, and wipe out for the next couple of days. I'm going to try not to fall for that again! I thought I would be able to go back to work at least part-time after 2 weeks. Now I realize how stupid I was to think that. School is starting and I won't be there for a while.
