best hrt for nervousness?

Hi sheel939

I see from your profile that you kept one or both ovaries. Did you have your uterus removed,(I don't see a surgery date in your profile) and are you currently on any kind of HRT?

Hrt is a supplement for hormones that our bodies are no longer producing either from natural or surgical menopause. To my knowledge, here is not an HRT that will help with nerve problems. Some ladies feel anxious if they are not on the right form of HRT---for some, the synthetics as in Premarin work well, and for others the bioidentical forms (Patch or compounded creams) make the difference. It's all a matter of finding the right HRT that fits each individual woman and her body.

best hrt for nervousness?

I am on ogen and I am pulling my hair out. Still cant sleep and I am having bad anxity attacks. Doctor has done nothing or prescribed nothing to help me through this. I am only 3 weeks post op and had everything removed. I am very bad . Any noise I hear at night I am wide awake and I am waking up dh to check things out. I am to affraid to sleep at night now and there has got to be something I can do about it. I am only on the ogen nothing else. I had the TAH and I am only 23 never had these kinds of attacks before. Infact I was never nervous about anything and I was a wonderfull sleeper before all this. I have tried just about everything I could think of and my doctor wont give me any advice or meds to help me through this and after reading this I am wondering if i am getting too much? I am on 1.5 mg. a day plus I had a shot right after the operation. Any thoughts? He also told me today that he is going to check my hormone levels at my 6 week check up. I am also snaping at any joke people are joking with me and I am always yelling at my poor dh for something. I dont think I can make it through to my 5 weeks help please.

Hello Shelly,

Thanks for your reply.

I had hysterectomy on June 17 having just uterus removed. I am really doing great now except I am wondering about hormones, but actually it is just the same way I got with PMS, terribly breakouts, hotflashes, depression, and I get so shakey. So I have been reading up in the forum trying to find out what my probem is.

goomphy it sounds like your having a tough time too. Sorry.
