WOW! Feeling Great!

Just 8 days opst-op and as of this morning feeling really good! Yesterday I only took Advil and skipped my Percocet last night and this morning I'm not even thinking of taking the Advil. Just a little lower pelvic pressure - still some discharge and still lots of gas and having BM problems, but for 8 days I feel pretty lucky.

Woke up at 4:00 and couldn't get back to sleep, but that's normal for me, and my hot flashes seemed to have returned - BOO!!! But, no worse than before so I think I can handle it.

I'm going to start keeping a log for my gyn, just like I did with my bleeding. Somehow when it's all in writing it gets more action, so I suggest anyone experiencing the menopause symptoms do the same (date & time of each one). Seeing the details really helps vs. just you telling dr that you are having several each day. Just my .02.

WOW! Feeling Great!

Hi Karen,

That's great to hear that your recovery, though still in the very early stages, is going so well! I'm glad to hear that you are behaving as a should and taking things easy.

Thanks for sharing your idea of keeping a journal of your symptoms. I think that's a great idea! It can really substantiate symptoms when there is an ongoing log that can be reviewed, rather than a general statement when speaking with the Dr.

On more than one occasion I have taken a written list with me to my Dr. with my questions, and also jotted down notes as my questions were answered. I have found that to be very helpful also.

Best wishes to you for a continued smooth recovery and s
