Man I MISSED that!!
Hey, ladies!
Just want you all to know that I had my post op checkup on Tuesday, and everything is great. I feel like me again!
One of the silver linings to all this: I get to have sex again, and no worries (ie, condoms -- of course only with my also-monogamous man -- , pills, etc etc etc.) It was FANTASTIC! He said he could feel my stitches - jeepers. That would've made me nervous if not for the dr's okay to go for it.
I know not all bodies are the same, but if I am "normal" (which could be good or bad depending) the ladies that are nervous about sexual experience better better/worse/the same mine seemed so much better. Everything "works" great.
Sorry if this is kind of crude, I am just so jazzed, hope you understand!

good for you, Green Bay. I'll be 6 weeks post Tuesday next and can't wait to get the greenlight (sound like that re-financing commercial). I am more than twice your age (48), hubby will be very happy (euphemism of the year) to have SEX again. Glad to know that everything seems to work, as before! Keep healing well. Sue

Beth,
I am older, turn 51 today and had surgery 2 weeks ago.
Yes, it is comforting to know that everything "works".
I too have been worrying about that!
Glad things are going well for you!

Glad things worked out for you. It is good to see and have someone on here that is the same age as me and hear that things worked out great. That gives me some hope that I will have the same results. I am only 4 weeks post op but dh and I are counting down the days when I get the ok again to have relations with him. Thank you for the words of encouragement.
