First check up!

This is probably not the place for this post but can't find where else to put it!

I am due for my first post op check up on 7th October (9 weeks after surgery). I am going to take the web address of Hyster sisters in with me and try to persuade my Gyn to let other ladies know of this site. I might ask the Sister in charge if the ward to let me put up a small poster somewhere (I will make one up and take it in).

I found this site by typing in Hysterectomy support in Google, others may not do so and be unaware of this wonderful site and the fabulous support that is available.

Having a hysterectomy is scary and bewildering, having little or confusing information is worse - having this site and all you wonderful ladies is a god send.

Thank you all for the support and help you have given me.

I know how you feel this site has been great I honestly don't know what I would of done without it. A friend e mailed the name to me when she heard I had to go through the surgery. A friend had sent it to her and was a big help. I have told everyone at the hospital and DR's office. It truely is a blessing! ((((STITCHER))))

I found this site by searching for the meaning of 'adenomyosis' as I was told post surgery, that the dr. had found it extensively...though he didn't tell me what the heck it was & I was too 'morphined up' to care..it was all I could do to remember the word.
Anyway, this site is the best thing to happen to me in this trying situation - especially as I live in a house full of males..I ordered a t-shirt & a mug the other day from the 'store' & can't wait for it to arrive!!! How lovely to have a positive 'souvenir' of that 'event' in my life. I will wear my t-shirt faithfully until someone actually holds me down & peels it off of me. Ha!
I am truly grateful to meet such a wonderful network of caring friends and I'm just SO PROUD to be a hyster-sister!!!!!!!! Ladies...WE ROCK!!!
