Does anyone know if a low thyroid condition can affect libido? If it is a hormone as well, I would assume it could? Anyone with experience on this??

I have have been on meds for a low thyroid for around 15 years now and I have never found a connection between that and decreased libido. BUT .. once I had my surgery and my ovaries were taken I found that my libido was non-existant. I starting reading about symptoms of menopause and found my lack of libido was no doubt due to my lack of hormones. Once I started on HRT however my libido came back as strong as it was before, Im sure much to the delight of my DH!
