Best Car To Drive Home In?

Can anyone share their experience about what vehicle was more comfortable to come home in. I have about 45 minute drive home and can either step down into a car or a little up into an Suv. Any experiences or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Best Car To Drive Home In?

Hi! I rode home after my hyst in a pickup truck, and appreciated the step up and big comfy seat. My mom wanted to drive me in my little convertible, but there is no way I could have twisted and lowered myself into that seat

Unless you have a bigger SUV than my little Suzuki, you may be more comfy in a car. The smaller SUV's seem to be a bit bouncier than a car...I can feel every bump even now at 3 wks. I came home in my son's Buick Park Avenue. It's 12 years old, but still has one smoooooth ride Even my little Focus was smoother than my SUV.

In retrospect, I would suggest an ambulance....

P.S. Seriously, just be sure you have a nice, squishy pillow to cushion any bumps or sudden stops.

I came home in my mini-van and the ride was very comfortable. After a previous c-section, i came home in a grand am, and found that difficult to get in and out of. Make sure you take a pillow to press against your belly for the bumps, it really makes a difference.

Thanks gals! I am going to request a limo! ..lets see what DH thinks about that...well, we have a pick up too, larger almost SUV like..but my dad said, NO, he is going to let my DH use his caddy..yes!!!!!!

But, seriously, my doc said that hiking up into a pick up is not the thing to do..get the easiest car to get in and out of, knowing me I will want to drive anyway..I know, I know.. will be after me, right ladies!

Best Car To Drive Home In?

I did just fine coming home in a mini van. I could not imagine contorting myself into a smaller (midsize) car. Getting up into it took a little doing, but getting out was a turn and allowing gravity to do the rest. I did not drive our lumina (car) for a few weeks after surgery. Just my
