Check- up Scootch and New York City

Just had check-up today with onc. and everything was fine (every orifice and node checked!)
Back in 3 months.
This time I was calm enough to check the paper sheet... thought that I hadn't moved... but
there was a huge wrinkle! How do you do it?????
When I had finished internal radiation the nurse said ,"Keep the surgical stockings... they are
better than flight socks".
Well... I thought I would use them and booked a few days in New York,with my two daughters,
both in their twenties. DH stayed at home with dog and budgie!
Anyway, I just wanted to say to you New York girls that you have an amazing city! We had a
wonderful time... the Art ,the Architecture , the shops , the delis and the people we met.
I think this year has taught me ( among other things) not to put life on hold .

Yes, New York is a wonderful place. I am sorry that you did not let us know that you were coming. Those of us from NY could have gotten together and met you somewhere. Hopefully another time.

difficulties... couldn't post or reply for several weeks !
