6 months post - op - still some bleeding?
Okay, dh and I did the nasty about a month ago and I had some bleeding, so we layed off for awhile thinking I needed a little more time. Since then, I sprouted my first beasty yeast infection since before my surgery (but it cleared with only OTC Monistat - that's a welcome first!) so we waited a week or two and fooled around this weekend. It wasn't like we were swinging from the lights or anything, but I had a little bleeding again. It only last about 24 hours then stopped and it wasn't much, but it was reddish pink and I didn't know if I should call the Dr or not.
What do you think? I feel fine now and the bleeding is gone, but I really don't want to bleed everytime I have sex, I did enough of that BEFORE the surgery!!!

check in with doctor
You may want to check in with your doctor. I had problems with that in july. I had some granulated tissue that had to be removed during a real quick exam. It was treated with silver nitrate and I haven't had any problems since. If it is more than that your doctor can give you insight on how to handle it!!! Jana

AndreaInNY,
Absolutely call your DR. When ever in doubt and whenever there is bleeding or pain it is a good idea to call. It is better to be safe than sorry.
Good luck
Colleen
