One month hysterversary!

Well, today is my one month hysterversary and I'm not sure that it is something to celebrate! Overall, physically I am feeling pretty well. My incision sites are all healing very nicely (I had LSH so there are three of them), although one of them is still very hard underneath. I have lost 15 pounds which I am very happy about and my appetite still comes and goes! I am still constipated somewhat (even with the Colace and a ton of water) and that has led to the dreaded hemerroids that appeared yesterday! On what other website do you talk so freely about bowel problems! Other than that, physically I am great. Well I guess that I am still having lots of heartburn probs too but I can't figure out if that is from the surgery or not! mentally/emotionally I still am not doing so well. I went to Target this morning and the first five minutes I was there all I saw were people with little tiny babies and pregnant women, so there I am in Target crying again! Ihave been on the Prozac for a week now and it is starting to help a little bit. It typically takes about two weeks for it normally to kick in for me. I didn't think before hand that I was going to have so many problems emotionally with this but it has been much more difficult than I had imagined. I am getting through day by day and again have to thank everyone on this site who has helped me through. I truly don't know where I would be without you. When I have some money I am definitely going to purchase crown jewels to help support the site! NOw I have to go out and find a job and try to move on with my life and take care of my kids and myself!

Getting through this journey baby step by babystep,

Amy

One month hysterversary!

Happy Hysterversary Amy!

I am so sorry that this has taken such an emotional toll on you. I hope the medication helps you. Your experience and support for my LSH were so helpful to me and I can't thank you enough for that. I also want to say thanks for staying on here to lend your help to others even though you are not feeling 100% yourself.

You Take Care of Yourself Sweetie

One month hysterversary!

Sweet sister

Your a little younger than my daughter.

Yes, it is like we are losing something, even at my age.

I got very depressed. Depression can be a big part of this experience but you are also young and sounds like you are having other difficulties in your life besides the surgery.

Your so right babysteps through your journey. You have two blessings, your children, they need you and your love. You are stronger than you know.

I pray your studies are going well and for a good recovery.

I felt the worst the 3rd and 4th week. Week 7 is like this turning point and I've gotten better and stronger day by day.

Blessings

Kasha Kitty
