Does anyone know "APPROXIMATELY" how long it takes for the inside stiches to desolve?

Hi ....
I know I have hundreds of inside stiches, but I forgot to ask my Dr. "APPROXIMATELY" how long it takes for them to desolve. I am going into my 7th week post op, and still have drainage. So I know they have all desolved as of yet ...

I was told by my doctor that the internal sutures could take up to one year to completely dissolve and for the tissues to heal. At 7 weeks you are still at the initial recovery period. You need to continue to go slow and take it easy. Your body will tell you loud and clear if you are doing too much.
Take care!

Thanxs

Thank you Nancy..
For the quick responce, you answered the question I was looking for. I am headed into my 7th week post op, and I know I still have some healing in store for me .. I am back to doing most of what I did before my surgery, but I am not pushing lifting, anything heavy in the near future. I don't want to have any set backs, after going through all I have been through ..
Thanxs again ..
