6-Week CheckUp

Had my 6-week check up yesterday and had to have some granulation cauterized. Yuck! He said I would probably have brown or black discharge for a few days and that is certainly true. Gross to the max, but should be finished in a few days. I go back in 2 weeks and hopefully my body will be my own again.

When I got ready to leave, the doc shook my hand and told me "It was nice seeing you again." I guess I was feeling silly, because I knew what he really meant -- but it seemed hysterically funny and embarrassing at the moment to hear that from my GYN!!!

6-Week CheckUp

How is your granulation tissue doing? I hope everything has healed up nicely.
Isn't it funny the things that run through our heads when we are at GYN's offices.
Take care!

6-Week CheckUp

Thanks for asking! My granulation is all gone, I have been pantyliner free for a while now! I can still tell when it would have been time for my period, though. My skin still breaks out and I get PMS-y. I should have had him take out the ovaries too! Surgery was 3 months ago, and I am feeling well. Still some nerve pain inside my lower abdomen sometimes, but that will fade. Hope you are doing well too, Nancy.
