Please tell me I'm not the only crazy one...
Am I nuts or what??? I have NO energy , can barely stay awake all day go to bed at 7:30pm cause I can't make it any further and yet here I am killing myself with this nesting thing! I'm cleaning like the Queen is coming for tea and don't really need to.(I have a cleaning lady) but I can't help myself. I just have to know there isn't one speck of dirt left in this house before I go to the castle. I'm washing bedding, drapes, you name it ,I'm scrubbing it!!! Does it really matter if my windows are freshly cleaned or not? of course not, but I can't help myself...My body is aching now and I still have about 2 more days to go to get it all finished. I wasn't this bad when I was preggers! AAAACCCCCCKKKKKKK!!!!!! someone make me quit allready! (o.k. there I feel a little better) anyone else this nuts?

Hehehe Crampella yes your crazy but it's not because of the cleaning :P
I am the same way. I believe we get like this because as a LIW you feel like things are out of your controll as far as surgery goes and cleaning etc is the one thing you can control so it makes you feel better
Just don't over do it .... being rested before surgery is important for your recovery!
HUGSSSSSSSS

Oh my....this sounds toooo much like me right now!
My DH just remarked tonight...what's the matter with the kitchen floor, I almost slipped! I said..it is clean dear, that's all!
Kitchen took me 2 days, the re-arranging of the dinining room 1 day and it is off to the living room and bedroom tomorrow. I had it all carefully planned out, have not had this much energy in month's. I guess it is all the nerves coming out to play.
By the way, did you know that the darn dust bunnies have flying relatives!!
Lots of hugs, Brenda

OMG I'm laughing so hard at Brenda's
dust bunnies flying relatives!!
I had mentioned to my DH last night that he'd better sweep or I'd have bowling ball sized dust bunnies rolling around on my hardwood floors by the time I could get to it again.
Kind of worried about how the house will hold up during my recovery but if I have to get a cleaner in then sooooo be it
Clean on ladies clean on

Oh, no, I'm the crazy one. I go to the Castle on Dec 8th...so far had my dh redo the entire bathroom. I mean gutted - we now have a stall shower with benches, new tile, paint, the whole works. Then had him put in new floors in the bedroom. Now he's painting the bedroom, kitchen, hallways, - pretty much the entire house. Either he's gone off the deep end or I pushed him when I jumped. It's been fun and we keep thinking that the house will be very pretty for recovery.

Hold on, let me add my 2 cents worth! I go to the castle in the morning and have not been able to stop all day. Painted my DD's bedroom, cleaned closet, vacuumed, dusted, and packed my bag. That's bad enough but the past week we did like PetiteOne did and gutted a room- I mean down to the dirt!- and changed the walls to make DD's bedroom bigger and also put new tile down! I was wondering yesterday if we had time to build some new shelving....
I am so tired and feel rotten and am looking forward to tomorrow in a weird, selfish kind of way. Ready to be away from here for a bit so I don't find anything else that needs doing- LOL
Hang in there ladies! The time really does go by fast!
Hugs-
Beth
