Surgery was a breeze

I can't help you with the "Big O" question as I'm divorced, but my vaginal hys two weeks ago was a BREEZE. I truly do not feel like I had an operation at all! My doc was originally going to do it abdominally due to the size of the fibroids & my enlarged uterus, but I told him point-blank I was very leery of having my abdomen cut. I knew it would be a harder recovery. He nearly had to go ab but managed to pull it off. I feel incredibly good. Best wishes to you!!!

Thank you for your message. I am scheduled for a LAVH on Dec. 11 and have seen very little on these boards about them. I am glad yours was a breeze. My docter has told me that it will be, but I'm glad to hear it from someone who has been there. I am nervous, but am glad about my decision to do this. Thanks for some comforting words.
