dark brown discharge-ewwwww

hey girlfriends...after being post-op for two weeks i've developed a darkish brown discharge..almost like the very end of a period..i do admit i've been doing things..like the trip to walmart with DH..and some laundry...kids carry it down...i just load and unload...could this be from overdoing it..or just old blood from vaginal cuff making it's way out...had an RAH w/removal of pelvic nodes and one very diseased ovary <not to mention endometrial cancer and adenoyosis> has anyone else had this experience?

hugs sisters and thanks for your advice..don't want to call doc if this is normal

dark brown discharge-ewwwww

Hi shzoo! I am 4 weeks post-op (one ovary left, abdominal hysto, severe endo w/endo remaining on bowel) and I still have a bit of discharge...same yucky colour etc. I do notice if I do too much there may be more discharge, but it certainly has diminished since the surgery. This is my experience only; after much reading on this lovely site, I think it is quite normal.

Please don't hestitate to call your doctor tho if it is bugging you. Your family needs a happy and healthy you !!

God bless and happy healing!
