6 Week check tomorrow and weird hard lower abdomen

I keep thinking I am healed and then something else seems to pop up. Anybody else have an abnormally hard lower abdomen. At times its a bit uncomfortable. I am wondering whether it still (ugh) could be gas 'cuz I still get a tad bit constipated or whether it's just healing and maybe scar tissue. (God forbid) At my two week the Dr. was surprised I was still having gas pains, yet it seems to be the consensus here that is normal. So consensus...any thoughts on this one? I tell ya, this is the best site for info. THANKS, THANKS, THANKS!!!

My stomach was firm like that, too, for awhile. I think it's partly the swelling and the activity that you do. It does go away. I am almost 11 weeks post-op and my stomach now feels normal.
