Away to the castle as you wait no more
The lady in waiting was pacing the floor
The stars in the sky are twinkling for you
While sisters are sending our best wishes, too!

I knew it would happen someday, but it is still a shock to see my name on the "Best Wishes" list! Yikes! 4 days to go!

I'm heading to the castle this afternoon to do my pre-op/pre-admit, and I think that's when it's going to HIT me. I've been controlling the fear 'til now, and as they say, you have nothing to fear but fear itself! Well, I'm not looking forward to FEAR kicking in.

Because of all of you great sisters, I feel prepared. Which is an enormous thing. As my pastor said about Christmas, there is a difference in being " ready" and being "prepared". Thank you!

And to my fellow ladies in waiting, I'm proud to become a princess with you ladies. Good luck, and have a safe and fearless journey.

Oh, a word of hint here...

dont forget to make arrangements for those pets that are left home while you are at the castle...they get very lonely while you are away...you may even want to have someone 'sit' with them for a while, or even leave the t.v. on for a bit, so they wont be lonely...they truly miss you while you are gone!!

I know that this is a big deal, Im just about 6 weeks post op myself, so the memories of how I felt before are as fresh as the day that I felt the feelings...

Try to be brave & strong & strong & brave...you all can do this, you are ready for this...you are a winner!!

Dont forget to make a day just for you to pamper youself & on that day, dont allow yourself to worry about anything...a moment of fear can ruin the whole day...
