i have a cold

hi sisters,
I woke up yesterday morning and i have a cold. I have tried so hard to stay away from everyone. I hope it goes away, but does anyone have any suggestions? My surgery is on mon jan 5/04

I am so stressed out....I also got my period ( for the last time ) but boy is it a dusey (sp)
I feel like i am ready to freak out.....

Hi yvonne,

I am sorry you have a cold. I hope it is not too bad of one. The only suggestion I have is lots of fluids, rest, and maybe vitamin c or c enriched juices.

Let your know you have a cold and or fever before you go for your surgery. He may have some suggestions for you as well.

Hang in there and I will that you get well fast.

Please don't delay, call your DR!! There are some OTC medications that can lessen the severity and duration of a cold (Zicam) but this close to surgery don't try anything without your DR's ok.
