anyone else on birth control pills for hrt?

I'm almost 4 months Post op, and taking allesse 2x daily for hrt, though allesse is a birth control pill. I'm only taking the hormone pills, not the placebos. But reading here, everyone else is on actual HRT? Is my gyno on to something, or clueless as to HRT options? :confuse:

Hi hunnybunches There are a few other ladies around here who are on active only bcp's for HRT... hopefully they'll stop by. I haven't used them myself. They are a good option for women who've had endo... they combine estrogen with a synthetic progestin which is supposed to negate the estrogen's effects as far as encourage endometrial proliferation are concerned.

Are you feeling OK on them?
