Please Help in Ontario!!

Dear Ontario Ladies:

If possible, could you please personally e-mail me with names of some very experienced gyn/oncologists in Ontario - I'll go pretty much anywhere for an appointment.

I am in need of a second opinion and am having a bit of problems in this regard.

I have endometrioid cancer which filtered down to the cervix. Have had a TAH/BSO and there is now some controversy with more than one doctor as to the plan of treatment to follow. Some have said yes to radiation and others have said no need. I am so confused!!!

I'm not under the care of gyn/oncologist and do not know any, but I tried to find a list of gyn/oncologists in Ontario, but the only place where you can look for a list of specialists is on the "College of Surgeons and Physicians of Ontario" website, since you can only go through them or your own family doctor to see a specialist in Ontario (I think the same rules apply throughout Canada... at least, they do in Quebec where I live). On the CSPO site, they only have listings for "obstetrician and gynecologists" and "radiologists and oncologists". Thank you so much for your kind reply - I will try your suggestion and the web site you cited. Thank you again for your help because things have been a little confusing at times so I'm so happy to be part of Hystersisters where everyone has such a wealth of knowledge and so generous in sharing it.
