Do I need a swelly belly band

My tah is 1/12/04. I was looking at the swelly bellys and the queen size measurements are a few inches to small for me. My belly is large and I think this would help me but will it fit? are they pretty stretchy?

Do I need a swelly belly band

Though I think the swelly belly bands sound great, I am so allergic to things that are elasticized that I was afraid to get one. I managed fine. I used a pillow or my hand to support my abdomen the first few days when I really needed it but after that it was only when I stood too long or did too much that it was a problem.

It sounds as if the swelly belly bands are very nice to have - but don't worry if the size doesn't work for you. (I have no idea as to how stretchy they are so I can't help you there.) Buy a pretty pillow and you will manage.

I will be thinking of you tomorrow.

Do I need a swelly belly band

Hello, friend!

You dont HAVE to get a band..etc...you can do just fine without spending the extra $$$$...if you need extra support, you can use a pillow while at the hospital, in the car, & at home...I purchased an ACE bandage that worked wonders & drank plenty of water!!! Try to keep in mind the bigger picture...you may have swelly belly, but at least this will be over with, right?

I suffered with swelly belly right after my surgery on 11-10, but now it only comes back when I over do it...really take the time to heal & listen to your body....I think lots of us make the mistake of trying to get back in there too soon!!! Just take your time & relax!

If we can do anything for you just let us know!

remember you are valued by me!
