6-week post (bleeding)

I had my 6-week post-op today. I was told to come back in 2 weeks because it looks like I am not completly healed. So no intercourse for me. Well, I just went to the bathroom and noticed some bleeding. I have not bleed since 2-3 weeks post. Is this normal? Has anybody else had this happen after a exam? I hope it is nothing, but thought I would just ask.

You might want to give your doctor a call to be on the safe side. If the bleeding should become heavy or bright red you need to be seen immediately.

Rest and pamper yourself.

6 Week Post Op

Hello there,
Sorry about the bleeding. Can I ask you what your gynae did at this consultation? Only that I had my 6-weeker today also and all he did was ask if I'd had any bleeding "down there" (no was my answer) and how my scar was healing (nicely was my answer) and didn't take a physical look at anything.
I admit I was a little surprised!
I'd be interested to learn what yours did and if it was any different (I really like my doc. and he did a great job. Just that I was expecting a little more hands on).
All the best.

6-week post (bleeding)

My doctor did a pelvic exam. She looked inside to see how things were healing and then she felt around. She asked me questions if I have been bleeding, if my bowels have been ok and if my urine has been good. All my answers were yes, but it turned up that when she looked inside, she said he looks like I am not healed yet and would like to see me in 2 weeks. It was hours after seeing the doctor that I noticed that I was bleeding. I hope it was just from the exam. Did your doctor release you do normal activities?
