hormone levels checked?

I was wondering if any of you recommend getting my hormone levels checked. I am 2 months post-op and don't feel myself. Is it a good idea to get these checked to make sure the medicine is doing it's job?

hormone levels checked?

Yes and no.

Some blood tests are very precise but ovarian hormone levels are not.

General levels often don't tell as much as exactly how you feel. But if you are confused about what to do next and need a compass to tell you where to whack at the jungle next, then hormone levels testing can point you in a direction to try. But you can have normal levels and feel miserable and have abnormal levels and feel great, so they are only a general compass and not clear map out of the trees. :run3:

The other problem is that most people don't feel themselves at two months post-op. It often takes many more months of healing. So it might not really be hormones at all, depending on the symptoms.
