WOWWIE what an OWIE!!

Hey yall,

Time to move over to post op. Four days out. Tired, sleeping, eating good fiberous stuff but not pooing yet, is this okay? Walking some. First time to check e-mail or write anything going back down now.

Over and soon Out!

WOWWIE what an OWIE!!

It seemed odd at first to me too posting on the Post Op side. Welcome home! My surgery was Jan 5 and I didn't get my gold star for the bm until Sat which was 5 days later. I figured I hadn't eaten much prior and that it could take a while.

Are you taking stool softeners and eating all the right things along with your liquids? Those will all help.

Hang in there....we're all different but I'm sure it will be happening soon.

Keep us posted.

WOWWIE what an OWIE!!

Gee, I usually need help pooing with softners etc... but the second day post op I had massive amounts of diahrea. I am on lots of antibiotics due to fevers docs seem to think it is from that. I am home now, had diahrea twice. On normal foods now and I seem to feel better. I used to have bm once every 5 to 7 days. I have been tested up the wahoo (literally) and am normal for me. I am drinking lots of water. Like close to a gallon a day. I mix a little juice to give it a little color and flaavor. I have been adding a little cranberry juice and so far no bladder infections from cathader.
