one step forward ,one step back

over and over again.
I've been having alot of trouble with nausea and vomiting since surgery.
I'm only 6 days post op but today i still continue to be sick.And tomorrow i likely will have a "good day"
They seem to rotate...one good...one bad
The Dr. wants me in tomorrow to help figure this out.
I have to say i have a wonderful Dr. I am so very thankful for that.
Has anyone else had any problem with this? I realize there can be several reasons for all of this but as alot of you know...nausea can be worse than ANYTHING! I hate it!

I was wondering if you are reacting to the anesthesia. I know I do. What worked for me last time (that would be in December) was to rehydrate. Pizza worked the best for whatever reason since there were other "salty" things I ate that didn't work. When I ate it at night and also quenched my thirst, most of the next day I felt pretty good. Chicken or beef broth are good also.

I had a friend who was allergic to the anesthesia and she had nausea and vomiting for several days after surgery, so that could be what is causing it for you.
