Stressed!

Hi Everyone. I'm been lurking in the shadows for a couple weeks now, reading all your posts, but this is my first time writing. I'm scheduled for a TAH on Feb. 3 due to Endo. As most of you were/are, I'm scared and nervous. Well, added to all this, my father found out yesterday that he has to have a triple bypass operation next Thursday. Now I really am a nervous wreck. I'm one of those people that likes to have everything in order. I thought I had time to clean my house, etc. Now with Dad's surgery I won't really have time to get anything done that I wanted. Peope tell me to just "let it go" "it'll be ok", but I'm having a difficult time doing so.

I knew that you ladies would certainly understand where I'm coming from, and possibly offer up some suggestions for "letting go".

Thanks~
Amy

Stressed!

Hi Amy,

Just wanted to give you a big . I'm sorry that you have this stress on top of your surgery. Things seem to look a little different after you have your surgery. Don't sweat the small stuff, if your house isn't clean, it's not a big deal. I'm one of those people who have to have everything "just so" but I didn't have time to do everything that I wanted to before my surgery. Now it doesn't seem to matter much. Just concentrate on getting better after your surgery and I wish you the best.

Cyndi
