less than 2 days away

I was feeling better - bleeding finally stopped wth Provera - but today feel wiped out and "yucky" and running to the bathroom all the time (bladder pressure). I remember any sister saying that she felt feverish right before and am wondering if this is partly emotional. I left work at lunch and will try to go in tomorrow a.m. for the last time. Feel lots of pressure to tie up loose ends there.

If i feel this way tomorrow a.m., guess I'll let Md know - maybe antibiotics are in order. All along a fear has been to go into surgery (abd. hyster) feeling strong and not weak so I can go into recovery with a fighting chance. First I was worried about my stomach - gastro md calmed me down and now my bladder.

Meanwhile I'm trying to read the 4th harry potter book - good escapism.

I'm sorry you are feeling so yucky today. I felt the same way last Wednesday...woke up at 2 a.m. the back of my neck, my hair, and my pillow were soaked with sweat...I was feeling very feverish and stayed in bed all of Wednesday with cramps, pain, and just couldnt MAKE myself feel better. I called my doc because I felt like maybe I had some type of infection...( I was itching all over too..DH says it was nerves, ??)..but just my luck he was ON VACATION! Wont be back until this Friday (20th). I am supposed to find out when my surgery will be on that day also. Anyway, here it is 8 days into my period...(usually lasts AT LEAST 10) and still feeling that yucky feverish feeling off and on. I am taking Anaprox for the pain and cramps and it kinda makes me wonder if that would cause this feeling? Are you taking any meds like that? Has anyone else felt like this? I really hope that you start feeling better...and I wish you good luck with your surgery and recovery. I'll be thinking of you and keep you in my thoughts and prayers, as well as the other Sisters who are going to the Castle this week. ((Gentle Hugs To You All)) p.s. I have also experienced lots of bladder pressure...run to bathroom around 5 or 6 times every nite...is this typical? Thanks alot

yucky

Hi Missipooh. Well, I've been experiencing bladder pressure the last few months. Sometimes I go to the bathroom every 15 minutes or wake up 6-8 times. I think nerves are part of it but the fibroids must be pressing on the bladder too. I believe I feel pressure on the bowel too - I have had some loose stool and stomach pain lately too. this time though I'm also feeling so tired - my eyes hurt.

In your case, I'm not sure. Why not call the md covering for your doctor and ask him. I made a fool of myself calling a doctor on call for a gastroenterologist over the weekend and he let me know he couldn't diagnose over the phone. Ont he other hand, he nicely told me that what I described did not sound like an emergency (blood in the stool). I wound up seeing the regular doc on Monday and he said I was reacting maybe to the hormones, nerves, etc.

Hopefully this will all be over for all of us very soon and we'll get back to our usual active and fulfilling lives! thanks to everyone for sharing and listening.
