Klonopin & Twilight Zone

I was put on Klonopin a week ago. I am now living in the twilight zone. It is so strange. I am aware of my surroundings and can hear things but can fall asleep sitting up. Then someone will say something to me and I will realize that I "checked" out and it takes me a second to realize where I am and how I got there or what I am doing there. I am having trouble focusing when I move my eyes or turn my head. So I feel like I am in a swirling derby all of the time. I would stop taking the medicine but it is helping with the symptoms of left sided pain and groin pain. I am not willing to go off of it yet. I want to see if my body will adjust but it is very trippy. The best part is I am sleeping great at night! The bad part is I want to sleep in the day too.

Klonopin & Twilight Zone

Hi,

I'm on Klonopin for my restless leg syndrome. It does KNOCK me out so unless my RL gets real bad during the day I only take it at night.

Why Klonopin?

Good Luck,
Renee

Klonopin & Twilight Zone

I am also on it for RLS. But it is to relax my left leg during the day which is drawing up with tension and maybe causing the groin pain that I am feeling in the day. But, maybe I will just try using it at night to see what it will do. If I take it during the day I end of sleeping at some point. I guess some extra sleep can't hurt since I lost so much after surgery, but I do need to resume some kind of life.

Klonopin & Twilight Zone

I do find even at 1/2 of a 5mg at night that it keeps me more relaxed during the day as well.....like I say, I'm abit of a wimp when it comes to meds but hey it's worth a shot!!

best of luck!
