why is it called the castle and not the dungeon?

I was just wondering, whydo you all call it the "castle"? I have worked at the "castle" where I had my TAH for 12 years and I have never heard anyone refer to it as such. Alright ladies...please tell me!!!!!! P.S. I just love this web site, I discovered it quite by accident after I was sprung from the castle after 5 days!!!! Luv to all my fellow sisters, Mollie C. (by the way I am at the castle right now, supposedly working!).

Why is it called the castle

I just found this site in December. I think it is such a wonderful site. I have learned more from this site than my own doctor. I also find it comforting. I think it is called the castle because you go there to earn your princess status. Ladies please correct me if I am wrong with my understanding. Connie

castle not dungeon

Well do I ever feel stupid. I guess I should have figured that out on my own,but then again Iwasnt thinking, I guess. But seriously, that is why it is called the castle? I guess now when people ask me where I work I can tell them I work at the castle. But where in the castle is the dungeon? I think I have too much time on my hands today, like I said I am at work and it is Super Bowl Sunday. Later!!!!!! From Hottamollie61.

Mollie
My first trip I called it the "Castle", my second trip I called it the "Pleasure Palace". I guess you can call it what you want but anything is better than "Hospital"

Have you read the Bedtime Stories for Hystersisters? These are wonderful stories, each one with its own message. Once you read them, you'll see how the hospital came to be known as the castle.

When Hystersisters first started, it was nothing more than a website with the Bedtime Stories and a Guestbook (no message boards). Eventually, it grew to what you see today, but the stories are still fun to read. Pour yourself a cup of raspberry tea and head on over to the Bedtime Stories. I think you'll enjoy reading them.
