Another surgery coming up

Well on the 27th of Oct I am going to have a trial for an implant that will control my bladder functions. I have a bladder disease that causes urgency and extreme frequency. It is called the Interstim. The trial will involve a wire placed near the sacreal nerve in the lower back and leaving it in for 3-7 days to see if the electrical stimulation lowers my frequency down from 30-40 times a day. If the trial works I will be having the implant surgery in a few weeks. I am not looking forward to another surgery, but sooooo many people put so much into this. I am going to be the first one to get it done at my military hosptial, so lots of docs have been working very hard to push this through for me and so that they can offer this for other people early next year. Please keep me in your thoughts, three surgeries in 4 months is not my idea of fun, and having any surgery following a hyst is definatly a bad idea. GRRRRRRR, sometimes I feel like I signed up for the full body overhaul. Yikes!

Big {{{hug}}}. You have certainly been through alot haven't you? When you are done with all of this, you will probably qualify for an honorary Dr. degree, lol. I know cuz I have had 13 surgeries myself. Now when I go in pre-op to ask questions they usually ask if I am a nurse, lol. I tell them no, I am just an unhealthy person.
