TAH? How long in Hosp?

I had a TAH-BSO on 1/20/04 at 7:30 a.m. and left the castle on 1/22 at 9:30 a.m. Dr. had originally told me three days and I got to go home in 2. I was ready to go home. However, I don't have little ones or pets or anyone at home depending on me. My DH has done a great job of taking care of me.

I was told that I would be there from the 2nd to the 5th - I would not be released any earlier. Mainly due to the fact that after my lap in December I ended up in the emergency room a few days later because I was blacking out (twice in the shower and ended up on the kitchen floor and don't remember getting to the kitchen - even had the phone in my hand when I came to on the floor). So...I think for me it's a safety issue - my doctor doesn't want me blacking out anymore I guess ;-)

I went in Tuesday a.m. (TAH/BSO) and went home Thursday afternoon when my husband came down to get me (hospital is 60 miles from home).
