update on my brother's friend......please pray for both of them

I posted about my brother's friend, who through my brother's insistance, got the police to knock down T's door after not hearing from him for a week. They found him incapacitiated and rushed him to the hospital. He is on a vent now and his body is shutting down on him. Unfortunately, I suspect his death will be soon.

My brother's heart is breaking. Mine is breaking for him. My brother only had one other good friend who was diagnosed with brain cancer a year after they graduated high school. He died within weeks. Now this.....

I know what my brother is thinking....if he had called sooner, would it had made a difference? Maybe.....who knows? T didn't take care of himself and I remember countless times my brother being online trying to talk T into going to the dr. T lives in MO and my brother lives in NC. Short of going there and physically DRAGGING him to the dr., there was nothing my brother could do. I hope my broterh can, in time, find peace within himself and know he did the best he could. Please say a little prayer for my brother in hopes he can reconcile this within himself. He is just sick about it and won't talk to me about his feelings. I am a medic and know death and how unfair it is, but when it comes to consoling my big brother, I am lost. Thank you.

I'll pray for peace in your brothers mind. I hope that he can rid himself of the guilt that he's feeling. He sounds like a nice person and good friend .
