Maternity Clothing

This is a goofy questions, but has anyone ever had to resort to maternity clothing during your recovery???

We are going to a concert on Saturday and I cannot fit into any of my pants. I even tried to buy a larger size and they just look rediculous they hang everywhere but my belly. The worst part is it hurts to have something push against my stomach. I usually wear sweats or overalls, but I am getting really sick of both.

I really do not want to go spend $$$ on Maternity clothing, but thought maybe I would go to a second hand store and see if they had some of the newer kind of pants, the ones that don't have the panel. They just have the band that sits low.

I just had a baby over a year ago and still have my maternity clothes. Only problem is, they're packed away in the basement. Don't ask me why. They would of been good for recovery though. I got some really nice pants, leopard print and the likes; all from a second hand shop. It's not a goofy question. You may be on to something. KWIM?

sounds like a good idea to me. I had lost weight prior to surgery and all my clothes were baggy. I had bought a few new ones. Now I can't wear the new ones, just a tad too tight in the belly, and the old ones are soooo baggy everywhere but my belly. I feel like I am wearing tents. My husband would flip if I shopped for maternity pants, I haven't needed them for 19 years! Will have to try to sneak some!
