I was WORRIED that leak had stopped! Weird!

Hi fistula sisters,

How weird is this? After the cystoscopy on Wed my fistula stopped leaking completely for 2 days! The last time I was dry even for 1 day was Christmas time, so I started worrying that something had blocked the hole, like a blood clot and would it hurt when it shifted, and where would it go, and what was happening inside???

I worried all night and then this morning, I didn't go to the toilet but hung on, and eventually it spotted!! Would you believe I almost wept in relief and then I realized I was GLAD that I was leaking!! LOL! How crazy is that??? Have I finally gone completely looney?:eyes:

Oh Blossom!! What an experience that must've been! You must've felt all sorts of emotions!

I think after any procedure, we're all nervous enough about 'side/after' effects & we're worried already..then to have the leaking just stop..I mean, I'd have been freaking out too! Especially since you leaked urine during the test & the dr. said he knows where the hole is. Now, if the leaking just stopped for 'no reason' and had went away all together..that'd be different, but right after a test, you'd be thinking all sorts of things like 'Oh man! Now what's wrong!'

I can't say 'Gee, I'm happy you're leaking again, but I can understand your relief..if that makes any sense..

Hang in there..And really, now would be a great time do something nice for yourself..whatever it is..buy yourself a treat..dinner w/hubby..something you would't normally do b/c you deserve it!! You REALLY DO!!!
