Comparing surgeries

After having a mastectomy I had a tram-flap breast reconstruction done. This is where they take tissue,muscle, etc from your abdomen and bring it up to the breast area and rebuild it. The abdominal cut hurt the most. I was wondering if anyone has experienced that same surgery and a hysterectomy and if there is any difference or similarities? I am planning on having a TAH/BSO possibly in May.

biglittleone, I'm not going to say that a TAH/BSO does'nt hurt but the first night of your surgery is the most intense. I know you have been through a lot, most of us have in one way or another. If you take your pain meds, keep your feet up and drink plenty of water, and do nothing for your first two weeks you will be better before you know it.
