Date set for TVH with cystocele/rectocele repair.....

Hi all!! Well, in the midst of moving and everyday busy life, I haven't had much time to get online!! But I thought I'd better pop in and let you all know that my surgery date is officially set for November 9th.

It'll be a busy time....moving October 28th....pre-op app't. on November 3rd...surgery the 9th!! But I am glad that the date is finally set and this will all be over with soon!!

I'll make sure to pop back in before my surgery, after I get everything set up at the new house!

WHEW, you've got a busy couple of weeks ahead of you. But that is good, you'll be so busy you won't have time to be nervous

hi, Just had the same surgury that you are having, all that repair work as well. We are in the process of buying a house now, and looking at moving in a few more weeks, if you have any questions, feel free to ask. I was so nervous before, I am 7 weeks post op today and feeling pretty good!

Vicki, we're going to be sisters in the truest sense of the word. Not only are we having the exact type of surgery (TVH/BSO with cystocele and rectocele repair) but my pre-op at the hospital is on the 3rd with surgery on the 9th. I do have one final pre-op with my doctor on the 8th, though.

I've been in and out of this site, depending on how panicky I am on any given day. Some days, I cope, other days, I'm a crying, hysterical mass. Today......yet again, I'm scared sh**less.

I'm trying to find some calm in my life, which is really hard right now. My adult daughter is giving me some grief right now and it's more than I can cope with. But I'm finding a little measure of peace by praying several times a day.....not just for me, but for my doctor. May God grant him steady hands, good eyesight, much patience and the ability to see me through this.

Shout at me if you want to hold hands.

You are having the same surgery as me. My date is Nov. 14th and since you're both going 5 days before me, I'd love to hear from you on how it went and maybe some advice. Best of luck to you both.
