Yeast Infection

I am overweight - I admit it. I am working on losing it and as a result I have an apron that hangs down. The crease left behind has a yeast infection due to lack of air circulation (common occurance). Did anyone else have this proplem prior to their trip to the castle? How do you deal with it? I have my post op on Monday and will most likely mention it there - just curious since it appears to be right where an obvious incision location would be.

Thanks.

(PS - I spoke with a 2nd doctor today and he agrees with my doc to go ahead with the TAH - I feel better about that now - but forgot to ask him about this!)

me too

Yes, I had a c-section 21 years ago and I am over weight so I also have the little "pooch" hanging down. I also get yeast infections, I use Aloe Vera Jel. I just take a shower and dry it real good, patting it, not rubbing it, then I take aloe vera jel and put it on the infection. It stops the itch and helps heal it. I also make sure that I wear cotton underwear. You can also use the cream that you use when you have a vaginal yeast infection. Works the same way.
hope this helps.
