Surgery for adhesion

Well, here I go again! I just found out that I have a Monday appointment to revisit the castle. I am over 5 months from surgery and am still having pain. We will be going in looking for adhesions that could be the reason for the lingering problem. While they are in there, they will add a stich to my cuff to stop a small bulge where my small intestine is pushing down. While I am not looking forward to the surgery, I am looking forward to finally get rid of all the pain.

For those that have had repeate but "minor" surgery, how has been the recovery? Will I really be back feeling good in a week or is that one of the wives tales again?

Adhesion

Good morning
I don't mean to sound dumb, but what are adhesions...
Thanks Rambi

what are adhesions

Adhesions are scar tissue that cause other parts and organs to "stick" together. Some people are more prone to adhesions than others. Not a dumb question.

Surgery for adhesion

This will be my 11 surgery and I have a history of forming adhesions. This is not "normal" so most do not have to worry as much about needing a second surgery. Just do not want to worry evryone!

Hi Tracey,
Wow. I'm really sorry to hear that you will be revisiting the castle. But please know that we're thinking of you.
When are you going back in and for how long?
I'll definitely say a prayer for you.

Sending hugs and good cosmic whirlies,
Lisa
