Ovarian cyst removal after hysterectomy

I could sure use some support! Has anyone else had to go back and have the remaining ovary removed after your hysterectomy? I'm to meet with the gyn/surgeon on Monday and need some help with what to expect. I had hyst. not quite 6 months ago. I have had pain and bloating since about the 1st of the year. CT and Ultrasound show several cysts and a solid mass on remaining ovary. Apparently it is growing pretty rapidly (5 cm on Feb 3 then 8 cm on Feb 18.)

I don't know what to expect for recovery time...will it be the same as for hysterectomy? Since I won't have an ovary left what should I expect homonally? What questions should I be asking the doctor on Monday? Help!

is he going to do it with a laparascope ? you might just be abit belly achey for a few days but the usual rules of no lifting etc apply
