five-month anniversary

It's five months today since my TAH, and while I'm still getting older every day and working too hard, overall I feel great! Periods are a distant, bad memory. I can't believe how well I healed. It was nearly three months post-op before I felt a real turnaround. Before then I kept thinking it was time to feel "all better," but I still felt lousy. Now it's like I never had surgery. I'm getting lots of exercise, don't have all those mood swings and sore breasts--not to mention the copious bleeding--and it's terrific! Hope everyone here has as good an experience as I have.

Im a month and 10 days behind you but I too feel like I never had surgery and I feel great too! I have checked my undies ONCE for blood thinking it was period time... LOL... I dont even think about them anymore. Im glad its all behind me I can see you are too!! Congrats
