best cream to reduce scarring?
Hi, I didn't need any cream on my incision, but I used Mederma on my scars from my breast reduction and used it on my DS for a burn and it works GREAT!! Good Luck!

best cream to reduce scarring?
Hi sister,
Right now I am trying the Neosporin scar treatment patches. (They will be at your local drug store) They are like a bandaid and you keep them on your incision for a least 12 hours per day and use them for 12 weeks. I cannot tell you weather or not they work--but the research on this type of treatment is positive. I like them also because they provide a layer of protection between my incision and my underware. If this does not work, I will then try Mederma (which is more expensive)
Hope that this was helpful

Hi Jewel...Mederma is a cream and is found in all drugstores and I think even the grocery stores have it. It's great! Where in Fla. do you live?

My mom has had several surgeries, and she swears by cocoa butter -- makes you smell like candy, too!

I agree with Who Me? Vit. E has been a staple in my family for many many years. Wait till the sutures are out and the incision has started to heal.
Good Luck ~
