What is 'NORMAL' at 7+ months??

Hi Sisters,
I really would appreciate some guidance on this. What is "normal" at this stage from a TAH/BSO?? I know the night sweats, mood swings, ect. are normal and I have to wait them out, but I keep reading that all of you feel "great" by now. Do you mean great as in no bleeding, cramps, and so on. But do you have a tender, sore ab that if you lean against the counter, it hurts, and if you wear tight jeans all day, your ab aches?? Do you get strange "pulling" type pains by the incision area if your on your feet all day??? Is this "normal", or do I have a problem??? I really don't know how I'm supposed to feel right now. Should I feel totally healed, like exactly how I was BEFORE my ab got cut open???? Will I ever feel that way again??? I would appreciate any and all comments!!!!
Thanks

What is 'NORMAL' at 7+ months??

Good question!
I am 4 months and though I do feel lotsssssssssssss better I still have a sore tender belly and and my side aches if I turn to sleep on my side. As for the night sweats, face flushes, crying, ect.... my HRT took care of that. I have heard that it takes 6 months to a year to feel better though.. LETS KEEP OUR FINGERS CROSSED it happens!

also abt 7 mos

I notice my lower abdomen, where the incision was is still sore; I thought I was past that but, when leaning against a counter this week, I found that it's still sore. Have been using different machines at the gym than I had been and I guess my body's complaining still a bit. I've also heard that it takes a full yr to feel completely normal again. Sometimes I'll have sharp pains around the vaginal area similar to after childbirth; am not sure what these are, but they come and go quickly. Went to a dept store recently for abt 3 hrs trying on shoes and felt pretty fatigued; shortly after the hyst, I could only last 20 or 30 mins shopping, so everything does improve, I guess. Good luck to all going through this. Am just so glad not to be anemic anymore from all the heavy bleeding. Alot of my job is sitting, so I am lucky not to have to be on my feet all day.
